This fourth annual conference themed ‘Sustainable Pension Inclusion in Africa’
was held at Kampala Serena Hotel, Uganda, on the 27th -28th November and hosted
by the Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority. The objective of the
conference was to provide a platform for pension regulators, practitioners, policy
makers and industry players to engage in policy dialogue on sustainable pension
inclusion on the continent. The conference brought together pension supervisory
bodies from across the African continent to discuss pension inclusion as well as
the challenges and experiences in the supervision and regulation of the pension
industry in Africa, with insights from outside the continent. The conference had
renowned speakers, professionals, and pension sector practitioners who shared
global knowledge and expertise on pensions.
